Week 39! Transfers!!!!

Wow.  This week has been a very busy one!  I really felt like this
week went by so fast, but I really think that it was just because we
were so busy with things!  I have to apologize right from the
beginning, because this week I was so busy with so many things that I
just didn't have the chance to do nightly journals, but I think that I
have enough time to make this one good today;)  I'll be better next
week!

So, I guess to start off, we did receive the transfer calls, and I
am transferring!  But, the place that I am transferring to is the
crazy part.  I will be going to Shibuya, in downtown Tokyo.  Shibuya
is down down DOWNtown Tokyo, actually the biggest, most crowded city
in the entire world!  You know the classic picture of Japan with the
crosswalk where thousands and thousands of people cross at one time?
Yeah, that is my new area.  President Budge was the one who called
today, and after telling me I was going to Shibuya, he told me that I
am going to be a Zone Leader down there.  I am blown away and
seriously so so humbled by this transfer call.  I won't lie, I do
feel a little in adequate, but I do know that this call came straight
from God, and somehow, knows that I can do it.  I am so grateful for
the chance to be able to serve more missionaries, and in a new area!
My companion's name is Elder Eggbert, and I have actually met him
before and he is a way cool guy!  He is a transfer 10, and I am just
so excited for the opportunity to learn more from him and to really
have a chance to learn and grow more!  I can't wait for the big city,
and I can't wait to start this transfer off strong!   I will hop on a
train on Thursday, and so I will be leaving Mito then!  I really am
just blown away by the call, and shocked that I am going to be leaving
Mito!  I have seriously been so blessed to be here, and serve here,
and I just can't even begin to describe how sad I am to leave!  I am
definitely more excited to leave, but the thought of leaving Mito
ward, and all the investigators here just breaks my heart!  Missions
are full of goodbye's, and it can be kinda hard sometimes!  But, I am
beyond excited.

This week really has just been so busy!  We had so much going on
this week, and it really was so awesome.  The investigators we have
are really doing awesome, and I am going to miss all of them!  We have
been working really hard to try and get people really progressing and
working to get closer to the standards of excellence and we have
really seen some amazing miracles!  We had a chance this week to meet
with L____ a lot, and we have been working really hard with him.
Lately, he asked his parents about baptism and they told him that they
are part of a different religion, and so lately he is kind of having a
hard time with that right now...We are working really hard though, and
I think that with me leaving, I will really be able to be super
straight forward with him, and be able to help him see why we really
want him to know for himself that these things are true, because they
can change and bless his life forever!  I just want to say thank you
for all your prayers and thoughts for our investigators.  I have such
a strong testimony of prayer, and the power of prayer.  Thank you for
your faith!  Your faith strengthens my faith.  I am so grateful for
all of you and your amazing examples to me.  Thank you!

I wish I had more time, but I just really want to bear my testimony
that I know that this church is true.  I really am so grateful for the
great influence it has been in my life, and how grateful I am for
amazing parents who helped me stay on the path, and helped me get here
to Japan.  I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the
world.  I love him.  I feel his hand in this work, and in my life
daily as I strive to do the best I can, and especially feel him when I
feel like I can't do it.  I know that he lives.  I am forever grateful
for his atoning sacrifice for us.  He lived, and died for us because
he loved us so much.  I am so grateful for the opportunity to share
that with people.  To teach, preach, and testify in his name.  I love
this gospel and I love this work!

Everyone have good weeks this week and please be safe!  I love you
all so much, and I will let you know how this week goes!  Talk to you
soon!

All my Love,

Logan
